Amenda Tate
Amenda Tate has been designing and creating cutting edge jewelry since 1996. She studied Mechanical Engineering before realizing that her interest in "how things work" would be better satisfied in a more creatively aesthetic mode -- jewelry and metalsmithing. Through hand forging and fabrication, her designs result in jewelry that embodies a sculptural presence. Amenda's works strike a chord that resonates a fine balance of opposites: organic/mechanical, natural/processed, predictable/unexpected. Her work is individually crafted one piece at a time in her Denver, Colorado studio. |
