redtoenails is an innovative and thought-provoking design house founded and run by Farrah Zeigler and Dana Schulman for the past four years out of their studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The focus of the RTN collection is creating ready-to-wear for both men and women which is edgy yet wearable.
Once known exclusively for their pioneering of one-of-a-kind deconstructed pieces, RTN has since honed their palette and techniques. They continue, however, to manufacture their collection as a series of art works: each garment produced is numbered in deference to its uniqueness.
RTN pride themselves on the hand-touched details that set their work apart: the silhouette of each article is carefully engineered by Zeigler and Schulman, as are all the prints and colors. Further to this ideal, after the collection is initially assembled in NYC, each piece receives finishing touches back in Brooklyn from the hands of the designers. |
